Raised in the northern California in the heart of the 1970s organic movement, the sustainability process was instilled in Martin Pazdra from the beginning. An avid camper and conservationist, he has compiled an extensive knowledge of most that is available for economical, environmental living. He began his working career with a recycling company for 5 years. In his professional career he was a board member of the Houston Corporate Recycling Council focusing on marketing and developing company recycling programs. He was president of the elementary school’s Parent Teachers Organization with a focus on developing an inner-city park and green space.  Martin has spent the past 15 years in facilities and maintenance management.

In June of 2010, Martin left Riviana Foods Inc. to join Greener Atlanta ~ Your Gateway 2 Green™. Greener Atlanta is a globally transforming,  locally responsive government relations consulting firm that works with customers to integrate their sustainability policies by providing consulting services that includes information, resources, customer relationship development, policy support, advocacy, and marketing recommendations. Greener Atlanta is proud to have been asked to manage the efforts of several Consular Corps members in Atlanta to produce the 1st Atlanta International Environmental Trade Mission. Greener Atlanta has helped to coordinate an Atlanta group for Americana, an environmental trade mission in Montreal, March 17 – 19, 2009. On behalf of the Atlanta Development Authority and the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce, Greener Atlanta presented the 2nd Atlanta International Environmental Trade Mission June 8-12, 2009 in Atlanta, Ga. Along with the 2nd part in 2009, October 5 – 9.

Martin Pazdra is continually seeking and compiling information on green and sustainable issues in the business sector as well as the progress of state and municipal initiatives.
