 The Switzerland Trade & Investment Promotion was among the original Participating Host Committee members of The Environmental Trade Mission and Conference (TM) and they are participating again because Switzerland is dedicated to working with the U.S. on developing the innovation-based technologies that will sustain their common prosperity. The mission of Switzerland Trade & Investment Promotion is to help companies based in Switzerland and Liechtenstein to gain access to international markets. They are the Swiss government's "one-stop-shop" business solutions agency for small and medium-sized companies. In close collaboration with OSEC Business Network Switzerland, the umbrella organization for the promotion of exports, imports as well inbound investments, they help Swiss and Liechtenstein companies identify business opportunities in the U.S. and establish business contacts. | Presenting Committee Member Spotlight: Russian-American Chamber of Commerce |  Due to a strong interest in developing more Green economic opportunities on the part of its constituents, business and government leaders from the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), The Russian American Chamber of Commerce in the USA will be a Presenting Host Committee Member at this year's Environmental Trade Mission and ConferenceTM.
Sergio Millian, President of the Russian-American Chamber of Commerce, his team and constituent guests are very excited to be participating in the ETM 2010™. | Sustainable Partner Spotlight: Green Chamber of the South |  |
A Green Chamber of Commerce, the Green Chamber of the South was established to serve green and sustainable businesses throughout the Southeast. The Chamber was born out of a need for green businesses, clean technology companies and corporations with sustainability programs to connect, share best practices, learn and grow. It offers networking opportunities, events, committee work, workshops, seminars and a green incubator. The Chamber addresses the needs of large corporations by facilitating conversation with others for best practice sharing and by exposing them to emerging technology. Targeted seminars assist with the special needs of green and sustainable business. Small- and medium-sized businesses receive opportunities to present their products and technologies to potential buyers, and to have access to expert opinion, regulatory government organizations, networking among peers and discount services.
Educational activities of the Chamber include seminars on sustainability in business, how to brand and market green practices and more. In addition to offering services to businesses already committed to being sustainable, the Chamber develops outreach and educational activities in collaboration with government and non-governmental entities to introduce sustainable practices into existing businesses. The Green Incubator leverages Chamber members to assist green entrepreneurs, create jobs and grow a sustainable economy.
