Barbara Hager, Director of International Fund Development, has over ten years of fundraising and special event organization experience for non-profit organizations.  She is originally from Germany, has lived in Canada and now resides in the United States.

Her professional background involves providing business development, marketing, communication, and event consulting services for clients and committees.   She is an expert in bringing events together on time and on budget. She has experience working with various organizations such as the German American Chamber of Commerce, World Chamber of Commerce, Metro Atlanta Chamber and the Goethe-Zentrum.  

Highlights of her career include responsibility for twelve highly successful fundraising gala events, each with up to 600 attendees and featuring foreign dignitaries. Additionally, Barbara was a leader in organizing the Unification Conference on October 3, 2003, which united former President George Bush, former Soviet Union President Mikhail Gorbachev, and former German Chancellor Dr. Helmut Kohl for the first time in the United States. Held at the Georgia World Congress Center, this conference was attended by nearly 2,000 people from all over the world and covered by major international news outlets including NBC, whose Tom Brokaw was the conference moderator.

Barbara is bilingual in English and German and studied Italian and French.
